Frost Spade Bits
The Spade Bit is a flat drill with angle spurs, which cuts much in the same way as a “W Point Drill”. One of the main advantages of these drills is that an extension shank can be added to their drill to increase its drilling length.

Features
  • Toughened Steel
  • Angled spurs for fast removal of debris

Helpful Hints
  • Keep constant pressure on the drill at all times when drilling to ensure the spade bit is cutting
  • The chiselled edge can be resharpened to ensure a cleaner, smoother hole
  • To minimise spade bit breakage and the risk of serious injury, always ensure the work piece is firmly clamped to the bench or secured to a fixture
  • Never apply pressure in any direction except directly in line with the spade bit
  • Never force tool by applying excessive feed pressure during use
